Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
The short version: HouseCheck has no accounts, no ads and no trackers. The addresses you check are sent to public data services to build your report and are not linked to who you are. Your saved homes and settings stay on your device.
Who we are
HouseCheck is made by YUZI, Netherlands. Questions about this policy: info@yuzi.nl.
What the app processes
- Addresses you search. The coordinates of an address you check are sent to public and government data services (for example RIVM, Copernicus/CAMS, OpenStreetMap, national geo services) to compute the report. These requests contain the location being checked, not your identity.
- Your device location (optional). Only if you tap the current-location shortcut, and only to fill in the address you are standing at. It is never stored by us and never used in the background.
- Saved homes, recent searches and preferences. Stored locally on your device. We cannot see them.
- Purchases. Subscriptions and single-report purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details. Single-report unlocks are stored on your device.
What we do not do
- No user accounts, so nothing to breach.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
Data retention
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes it. Requests to data services pass through our-side caching briefly for performance and are not kept as a profile of you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you. In practice that is none, because we do not operate accounts or server-side profiles. If you believe otherwise, email info@yuzi.nl and we will respond within 30 days.
Subscriptions
HouseCheck Premium is a weekly or monthly auto-renewing subscription purchased through your Apple account. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use: Apple's standard EULA.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it and the app links to the current version.
